Information Collection and Use

iGifter does not collect any information about you than is necessary to check your active status and award you gifts. Your email is used as a userid and to inform you if you are rewarded a gift. Other than this, we do not ask you or collect any personal information.

We ask for your email address and name if you invite a friend to join iGifter using our 'invite friends' function. Your name is only used to send email to your friend so they recognize who is inviting them. Your email and your friend's email is stored in the system to keep track of who invited whom.

We use your email address to notify you when you are rewarded a gift. To not receive such notifications, simply remove iGifter from your browser. Instructions for removing iGifter can be found in our Uninstall section.

iGifter also notes and saves information email with each search query to make sure that each search qualifies for the appropriate prize drawing, and to monitor our site traffic.

Information Sharing

iGifter does not share any personally identifiable information with third parties outside of iGifter. For example, we may disclose how frequently the average iGifter user visits iGifter or which other query words are most popular. We will release specific personal information about you if required to do so in order to comply with any valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

iGifter is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access, which are located in controlled facilities.

Google and the DoubleClick DART cookie:

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site.
Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
